Duracell My Grid

This is an introduction to the recently released product from Duracell, the Duracell Mygrid; it is a compact machine that provides you with the ability to perform what is called streamline charging, with multiple devices, you can charge up to four cells phones and other devices at the same time. When you receive your Duracell Mygrid kit, it will include the My grid metallic charger pad that is equipped with an AC cord that you will plug into an electrical outlet.  In addition you will get three power tips and a power clip adapter that you will have to attach to your device for charging to take place. Some entertainment news reports had shown how the device should be used, but if you missed it you can follow these directions.

The Duracell MyGrid charging pad has a large metallic surface area, which energizes with electric charges when it is turned on. While this may sound like a dangerous electrical devise, there is absolutely no danger, if your fear is electrocution as you cannot be shocked by touching it, it is actually considered child safe. The thing is, if your should use your hand to touch the metal plate on the device it will shut off automatically and start again once your hand or finger is removed. The same thing will occur if metal objects that do not come with the unit come in contact with the pad; metal objects like coins, jewellery or keys. This is something that should be taken into consideration if your My Grid unit is not powering up and you are sure that you have followed all the necessary procedures.

The standard Duracell Mygrid kit contains the flat bed mygrid charger pad, tips for four devices and a power clip.  Once you have made a decision on the device that you plan to charge, locate the related power tip that will fit securely into the charger port of your device and insert it. After the power tip is inserted into the port, you will now attach the power clip to the inserted tip and fit it on to the back section of your device.  The power clip itself has three small metal spots on the back that serves as contact points for the charger grid; the current is passed through those points on the power clip and goes through to the tip that releases the charging into the charger port.  Once your power clip is securely attached to your device, you will just place the device flat on the mygrid and leave it to charge, ensure that everything is flat so that the contact points on the power clip are connected to the metal areas of the grid.

If the mygrid charger pad is not in use, the device will go to sleep until you are ready to use it again. Check for further entertainment news coverage on this device or check the web for more info.
